Mystic Wyrd is a Colorado Springs-based practice that strives to connect you to your inner nmagic and wisdom. When stress, depression, or anxiety overwhelms us, connecting with our inner knowing can feel challenging. Through healing Reiki energy, we can release this tension and create space to dream again. Meet Rin Russ
As a child, I was enchanted by the idea of magic. Stories of fantasy and supernatural worlds transported me away from the stressors of moving every 2 to 3 years.
As time progressed, I found myself navigating clinical depression throughout my life—a personal journey that surfaced most intensely during extreme life changes. It was in my 30s that Reiki found me. Through Reiki, I rediscovered that the magic I sought as a child had never truly left. I just had to remember how to see it.
In October 2023, I received my First and Second Degree Reiki initiations under the Usui/Holy Fire® III method.
As a Reiki practitioner, I strive to help others rediscover their own inner magic through gentle, hands-off energy healing sessions.

What is Reiki?
“Reiki” refers to the universal life force energy that flows through all living things. It is also an energy healing practice developed by Mikao Usui in early 20th century Japan. While deeply relaxing, Reiki works on multiple levels—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual—to promote the body’s natural healing processes.
What does a typical Mystic Wyrd Reiki session look like?
Each session will unfold uniquely as everyone’s life journey is different.
That said, a “typical” session may look something like this: We’ll discuss your specific intention for the Reiki session. Then, I’ll guide you through a short meditation aligned with that intention. Finally, we’ll begin the Reiki session itself, where you can relax and allow yourself to be open to your inner guidance. Other tools that we may use together include mini psychic readings, oracle cards, lighting incense, and more.
These steps are designed to inspire you to take meaningful action after your session, guiding you toward achieving your goal.
How many Reiki sessions will I need?
The number of sessions will depend entirely on how supported you feel by the process. If you feel that one session was enough to help you get one step closer on your healing journey, that is wonderful! Have a multistep goal that you want to break down into a series of sessions? We can do that, too. I am here to hold space for you and your dreams for as long as you feel called to continue.
